Kimberly Gilroy

Born and raised on eastern Long Island, I have never strayed far from the ocean. Inspired by the simple pleasures in life, I'm prone to doodling on scrap paper and seeking new adventures.

Since receiving my Bachelors Degree from Salisbury University, Maryland, I was fortunate enough to establish my creative career home in New York. After a few years in a 9-5 job, I moved on to further my career through the study of Event Management in Florence, Italy before returning to New York where I became the senior designer at Long Island Pulse magazine. With years of experience supporting my time at the publication, I have dipped my toes into various design outlets such as print, social media and designing for the web. I specialize in print and web and aim to bring my artistic talents to help clients, of all fields, elevate their brand.

As someone who can not say 'no,' I taught myself the art of letterpress when it came time to designing a friend's wedding invitation. I now shares my love for all things paper through my boutique stationery business, Sunkissed Paper. Here I bring back to life the old printing method and custom designs paper goods to fit the needs of all event types.  

After 10 years of working as a graphic designer in New York, I packed what I could fit into my car and headed west. I couldn't fight the California dream anymore. I now reside in southern California where I continues to bring my creative talents to clients along both coasts (and everywhere in between!).
